Today I decided to use cinnamon to prepare dinner. I love cinnamon especially for breakfast with my cereal however this time I wanted to use it to do something savoury. The marinade is very simple and will give the chicken an unusual but pleasant taste.
4 chicken breast halves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
In a bowl mix the lemon juice, oil, oregano, pepper, cinnamon and cayenne pepper.
Pour over the chicken breast and let it stand for an hour in the fridge.
Grill the chicken.
The marinade leaves the chicken breast moist in the inside. A must try!
