This is a great idea that I found online. I think it could be tried with Maltese Bread.
Slice the bread lengthwise, then do some horizontal and vertical cuts. By doing so you will get a loaf of bread cut completely in many squares.
Fill in the spaces with cheese or mozzarella cheese, cured meats or with the filling that most prefer.
Then to bake the bread stuffing put it in the oven at 180° for about 15 minutes, until it is crisp and the filling well loose. 🙂
