Dining inside bastions

So lately I have been posting about these restaurants that I find a bit bizarre like underwater dining or waterfall dining. Today I stopped for 10 minutes and asked myself , if I were a tourist in Malta which restaurant locations would I find strange and would love to visit?

The answer is: restaurants located inside Malta’s famous bastions!

My country is well known for its defensive architecture. Because of its strategic position in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, Malta was crucial during wars. During the Knights era our capital city Valletta, the Grand Harbour and Mdina were significantly fortified.

Nowadays, some parts of these massive locations are being used as restaurants and bars.

The most famous ones are:

Bacchus in Mdina

Tang in Valletta

Lupanara in Birgu

Are there any other similar restaurants that you have visited in Malta or in other countries and would love to share?
